Beyonce Shuts Down 94th Annual Oscars Opening with First-Ever Performance of ‘Be Alive’ [Video]

As teased, Beyonce made her highly-anticipated appearance at the Oscars on Sunday for the first-ever performance of her inspirational number ‘Be Alive’ from the ‘King Richard’ Soundtrack.

Bey performed the song which is nominated for Best Original Song at the 94th annual ceremony and serves as her first-ever Academy Award nomination. The film which tells the original story of Venus and Serena Williams and their father, Richard Williams is also nominated, as is Will Smith for Best Actor.

Bey performed from a tennis court that Venus and Serena used to practice at in Compton that as previously reported but was later in attendance at the actual show.
