The past several days have brought many twists and turns for the upcoming 2024 Presidential election, but Sunday (July 21) brought the biggest surprise yet.

For weeks, many have been calling for President Joe Biden to drop out of the race, and Sunday the official word came as Biden announced his intent to end his campaign for re-election.

Biden’s announcement also came with an endorsement of his VP Kamala Harris to take over as the Democratic candidate for the Presidential race.

That’s not all!

Over 40,000 Black women who compose the group ‘Win With Black Women’ joined a Zoom call to raise funds in support of Harris.

In less than 3 hours after the donation link was posted, the group raised over $1 MILLION toward the campaign for the VP and her bid for the Democratic Party’s nomination for President at the upcoming convention.

TV Judge & Attorney Star Jones, the first African American woman President of Spelman, Johnnetta Cole, Wendy Osefo, and more prominent women led the call with the President of AKA and more joining in.
