Rapper/actor Shad ‘Bow Wow’ Moss is ready to bring back the legendary music countdown show ‘106 & Park‘ but this time with a twist.
The ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star took to Twitter on Monday to reveal that he has plans to reboot the iconic show which ran on BET from 2000-2014 when the network announced the show’s cancelation.
Bow who was a staple on the show for years before he became the official co-host in 2012 until its cancelation, reveals that he has pitched a meeting with BET and would like to bring the NYC based show to his hometown of Atlanta.
He also has several ideas to reboot some of their other iconic shows with a modern twist, and would like to do so under an executive position within BET.
My only dream job now is i want to take over BET. I want a high position. I was blessed to host but NOW i want an office. I want to run and come up with content for the network. I know what they missing. All you have to do is LISTEN to the people.

BET forgot what made them HOT! The MUSIC!!! breaking artist etc… music shows that mattered. Now its like lifetime. Just a bunch of sitcoms. Do you know the only time there is music on BET IS when there is an award show? Think about that. Like 3 x out the year. Thats crazy!

We must say that Bow makes very valid points as Atlanta has essentially become Black Hollywood and the mecca for Black music and production so it makes complete sense.

He took back to Twitter early Tuesday to confirm that BET has officially agreed to take a meeting with him to discuss his ideas.
