Tamron Hall is getting a lot of flack lately for what some are calling “messy” journalism.
Last week the daytime host interviewed ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ star, Larsa Pippen and things got a little tense when Tamron quizzed Larsa on her relationship with her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan–who happens to be the son of Michael Jordan.
Many have questioned why Larsa would date the son of her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen‘s ex-teammate. Tamron used the interview as a chance to address the hot topic.
The sitdown went viral because Larsa and Tamron had a back and forth after Larsa seemingly felt attacked, and reportedly had to correct and chek Tamron. It was reported that part of their verbal spat was cut from the final interview so viewers did not get to see it.
Fast forward, Tamron interviewed radio and media personality, Angela Yee last week as well and that interview also went viral over comments that Angela made regarding her time as the third co-host, and only woman co-host of ‘The Breakfast Club.’
Angela recently departed the show to launch her own morning show, and during her time on Tamron, the host quizzed Angela on her experience as the sole female and insinuated that Angela seemingly took the fall for many of the negative headlines that centered around her co-hosts, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.
The interview made so much traction over Angela’s comments, that her former co-hosts had to respond on air this week with Porsha Williams who is filling in as guest co-host this week.
While discussing the drama during the show this week, Porsha revealed that Angela may have felt pressured to say things she didn’t necessarily mean or that her words were taken out of context.
Porsha and Charlamagne suggested that Tamron has become “messy” and that producers may be putting a bug in her ear to push the drama for headlines and soundbites on her show.
Porsha also detailed her own experience while visiting Tamron’s show last year. DJ Envy also co-signed Porsha citing his own experience when he and his wife attended her show and felt attacked by the host.

Just for reference, here is Porsha’s interview with Tamron in 2022 that she referenced where she didn’t feel supported by Tamron.
Well, following Porsha making her comments on ‘The Breakfast Club’ regarding her stance on Tamron, comedian, Loni Love apparently came to the defense of Tamron and threw a bit of shade at Porsha. Porsha also addressed this on Wednesday’s (March 8) show.
