Plaques on plaques on plaques!
Omarion is celebrating a recent certification of one of his biggest songs, and we are so here for all of it!
The R&B heartthrob took to social media on Wednesday (Aug 16) to share the news that his 2014 hit single ‘Post To Be’ has now officially been certified multi-platinum…6 times platinum to be exact!
The song which features fellow hit-makers Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko was featured on Omarion’s fourth studio album, ‘Sex Playlist’ and became a certified smash for the singer for several weeks.
The song peaked at number thirteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number five on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and in doing so tied with ‘Ice Box‘ as his highest peaking single to date according to Wiki.
The song was previously certified platinum after becoming a radio and social media smash. Now it has crossed a rare feat, selling more than 6 million copies and being certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The singer shared a celebratory video featuring his brother and DJ, O’Ryan where they showed off the shiny new plaque and thanked fans and his collaborators.
