We told you weeks ago that ‘Married To Medicine’ season 10 was about to have a cast shakeup, and that Phaedra Parks was in talks to join the cast for the new season.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes also confirmed that she and Phaedra had talked and that Phaedra had indeed received a contract but at that time had yet to sign.
Well, on Tuesday (March 7) it has been confirmed by the ever-reliable Bravo fan pages that the former ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star has officially signed her contract and is in for season 10.
Meanwhile, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Anila Sajja are reportedly both out for season 10 but newbies are being tested to also join.

Dr. Contessa later confirmed in a statement to lovebscott.com, that she indeed is not returning, but says it was on her own terms.
Contessa Metcalfe, who joined the ladies during season 5, has confirmed exclusively to lovebscott.com that she has exited the show ahead of season 10.
“I decided to quit after last season,” she told B. Scott exclusively. “I needed a break because it wasn’t highlighting me as a [doctor] or as a mom…Plus it’s been 5 years! I’m sick of cussing and crying.”
When asked her thoughts on former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks’ joining the cast, Contessa said she thinks Phaedra will be a “fun addition.”
“I think Phaedra – who’s my neighbor – is going to be a fun addition,” she said.
As for other cast member Anila Sajja’s departure, Contessa admitted they don’t really speak outside of the show — but added she didn’t think Anila “was a good fit anyway.”
Production for season 10 is about to be underway, and the show is set to return to Bravo later this year.
