Cynthia Bailey shocked her fans when she announced a little over a week ago that she would not be returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ for season 14 which is set to begin filming this month.
The rumors of her departure had been lingering for months before Cyn made the official announcement, with many speculating that she was set to be demoted to “friend” of the show status. While Cyn’s initial announcement implied that the departure was her sole decision, it appears that it was a bit more to it.
During a visit to E’s ‘Daily Pop‘ last week, Cyn revealed that she was indeed offered a “friend” role for season 14, but ultimately declined and decided to step away altogether.
Get into it below.
