The members of Day26 stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ to promote their new album and upcoming shows.
Mike, Brian, Willie, Que, and Robert had a lively conversation with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Jess Hilarious ahead of their series of performances at SOBs in New York.
As expected, they discussed their experiences with Diddy, including his recent legal issues and various accusations. The group reflected on their time on ‘Making The Band,’ sharing the downsides of the show.
Despite achieving significant success and selling millions of records, they revealed that they have not been financially compensated. They disclosed that their publishing rights are under the names of Diddy’s children, even though he publicly claimed to have returned the publishing rights to all his artists.
Additionally, after parting ways with Diddy, they mentioned that several promising deals in the pipeline inexplicably fell through multiple times. While discussing the current accusations and legal troubles surrounding Diddy, the guys noted that they did not witness or experience any of those issues.
However, Que hinted that he suffered trauma while working with Diddy, although he couldn’t provide further details at this time.
Elsewhere, they dished on their new album ‘Day Ones,’ their past group drama, how they overcame that, and more.
