ABC and GMA co-anchors, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been officially taken off the air following the revelation of her alleged affair.
News of the co-worker’s romantic entanglement made its way online days ago and has caused a media firestorm which ultimately prompted the dismissal of both anchors.
“GMA3” executives decided to pull the couple from their daily 1 p.m. show after their romance went public and became an “internal and external distraction.”
Although Holmes and Robach’s alleged affair was “not a violation of company policy,” ABC News president Kim Godwin said it could tarnish the “GMA” brand.
Well, ABC has moved swiftly to fill those spots and the internet is going wild over T.J. Holmes’ replacement.
This week, DeMarco Morgan took to the air in his new daytime spot and the internet is going wild.
