Weeks after the controversial “Nanny-gate” fiasco that rocked D.C. radio station, WKYS and the resident morning show, ‘Fam In The Morning,’ host DJ Quick Silva has announced he is departing the station as well as Radio One altogether.
If you recall, the story went viral after DJ Quick Silva and his other male co-host, DJ 5’9 tag teamed their female co-host, Danni Starr in what some say was a bad prank gone wrong. You can catch up on that HERE and the subsequent suspension that occurred for Quick Silva and 5’9 and the firing of one of the shows producers.
After a few weeks off, the crew finally returned, but apparently things haven’t been so good, as Quick took to Instagram on Wednesday night to announce his departure which he says is to focus on other ventures. However, it’s his wife’s telling post that lets us know that there is more to the story.
