Just a week after it was announced that Russ Parr and his legendary radio series ‘Russ Parr Morning Show’ was ending after over two decades on the air, now another radio legend is turning the lights off.
On Wednesday (Jan. 10), it was revealed that radio and TV icon, Donnie Simpson will be signing off the airwaves with his hit fan-fave radio show.
The announcement came on air and via Simpson’s co-star, fellow media icon, Tony Perkins who took to social media to confirm that ‘The Donnie Simpson Show’ will be airing its final two episodes this Thursday and Friday on MAJIC 102.3.
During the on-air announcement, Simpson revealed that he’s excited about his next endeavors, including his podcast and the reboot of the TV show ‘Video Soul.’
The living legend joined MAJIC 8 years ago, alongside News4 anchor Tony Perkins who joined “The Donnie Simpson Show” in the 3 p.m. slot six years ago.
