Elsewhere in Drake news, the rapper has revealed that following the release of the new album, he will be taking a hiatus to focus on his health.

Via Forbes:

“I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” Drake stated candidly during an episode of his Sirius XM show, Table for One. The rapper went on to elaborate on why he’s planning on stepping back from music, saying, “I’m going to be real with you. I need to focus on my health, first and foremost, and I’ll talk about that soon enough.”

Drake continued the conversation about his health, adding, “I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.” He then confirmed that he needs to “focus on my health, and I need to get [that] right.”

The chart-topper added that he has “a lot of other things that I would love to focus on,” though he didn’t elaborate on what those other projects may be, or if he meant just his health.

During the radio episode, Drake confirmed that he was talking about putting a pause on his music career. “I’ma lock the door in the studio for a little bit,” he clarified, so it seems that his new set might be his last for a while.

Drake also made it clear that he isn’t sure how long this hiatus may last, though he did put forth a guess. “I don’t even know what a little bit is,” the rapper continued, before adding, “Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer.”
