It looks like Mona Scott Young is going back to the basics for season 10 of ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ and is reportedly bringing back several of the original members of the New York cast.
Before ‘Love & Hip Hop’ expanded to multiple cities, it was the New York series that centered around Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones that kick-started the then-freshman series.
Well according to various reports, in honor of season 10 of the show–which has already begun filming–the OG’s are coming back. Additionally, former OG Emily B is also set to return according to reports from The Jasmine Brand.
Just got word that OG Love & Hip Hop couple #ChrissyLampkin and #JimJones have finally decided to return to #LHHNY which will start filming their upcoming tenth season VERY soon! ??? Are you excited to see the originals back on the show?

Emily appeared on the show for seasons 1-2 and documented her troubled relationship with her beau, rapper Fabolous. Fans will recall the infamous fight between Chrissy and Kimbella over an alleged fling Kimbella had with Fabolous during the time that Emily B was pregnant with their child.
Jim and Chrissy also appeared on the show from seasons 1-2 before departing the series after having major conflicts with castmates Yandy Smith and Executive Producer Mona Scott Young.
If Emily, Chrissy and Jim coming back weren’t juicy enough–Kimbella and beau Juelz Santana are set to return for another season. Yandy, Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels are also said to be rounding out the season 10 cast.
Stay tuned.
