After a successful debut collection, it’s no surprise that French design house Maison Martin Margiela has once again teamed up with sneaker giant, Converse, to put a new spin on their classics All Star Chuck ’70 and Jack Purcell. Speaking of something new, the spring/summer 2014 offerings will all be made in leather and not in the standard textile fabrication. The kicks come in MMM’s signature Blanc de Meudon paint, which will naturally chip off once worn and reveal either a bright red or blue for Jack Purcell model and pale yellow and dark blue for All Star ’70. Folks get ready because the shoes debut Friday May 23rd and will cost you $250. Check out the NYC Converse stores in Soho and San Francisco or click HERE
