Monica was feeling the love on Saturday, as the singer took to her Instagram stories to show love to her industry peers.
As we previously told you, Monica is serving as a guest judge for the highly anticipated return of ‘Making Tha Band‘ and was present at the first round of auditions in Atlanta last weekend. As the search moved on to Houston this weekend, Mo appears to be serving as an ongoing consultant.
On Saturday she took to Instagram stories to share screenshots and clips of fellow artists who she loves and admires and revealed that she was listening to “the greatest” as she, Diddy & co. prepare to find “the greatest.”
One of the greatest in her list, was her ‘The Boy Is Mine’ co-star Brandy. Mo shared a screenshot of her listening to Brandy’s ‘When You Touch Me‘ from the classic/fan fave album ‘Full Moon‘–which coincidentally just celebrated its 18th anniversary on March 2.
She went on to share additional screenshots of other peers including Brian McKnight, The Gap Band, and Lalah Hathaway as part of her “greatest” tribute.
Fans of the ladies will be able to see them both live as they prepare to perform at the upcoming first-ever ‘Lovers and Friends‘ festival taking place in Los Angeles in May.
Brandy and Monica are doing respective solo sets at the festival, but would you be here for a possible reunion and performance of ‘The Boy Is Mine’ on stage?
Additionally, as we told you Brandy has a new single and forthcoming video for ‘Baby Mama‘ ft. Chance The Rapper set to debut at the end of this month.
