Things are getting hot for Sharon Osbourne this week, and old skeletons are coming out of the closet.
As you may be aware, Sharon clashed with her ‘The Talk‘ co-host Sheryl Underwood for defending Piers Morgan this week after he criticized Meghan Markle for her claims that members of the Royal Family made racist comments about her son.
The heated exchange between Sheryl and Sharon got quite awkard and Sharon is receiving major backlash for not only seemingly agreeing with Piers’ behavior, but for her tone with Sheryl which came off abrassive and almost chastizing.
Sharon came out following the backlash to issue a public apology to the black community for any misconceived perception that she was racist or that she was agreeing with any racist views.
Now, Actress Holly Robinson Peete who originally was a co-host on ‘The Talk’ alongside Osbourne when it premiered, but was later let go from the show in 2010–is now speaking out.
The actress who has been pretty tight-lipped about her departure is now saying that it had to do with comments that Osbourne made to producers that Peete was “too ghetto” for the show–and then suddenly she was gone!
I’m old enough to remember when Sharon complained that I was too “ghetto” for #theTalk…then I was gone💨
I bring this up now bc I was mortified watching the disrespectful condescending tone she took w/her co host who remained calm & respectful because…she HAD to🤦🏽♀️ 🤷🏽♀️#fbf https://t.co/7pnCnhM5rf pic.twitter.com/CXR4DzvlEZ— Holly Robinson Peete😷🥰 (@hollyrpeete) March 12, 2021
Sharon Osbourne has yet to respond to Holly’s claims, but its safe to say that Osbourne should have just kept her thoughts to herself in this matter.
