After years of being deprived of her entire music catalog, it looks like fans of Aaliyah will finally have their wish granted for her music to become available on streaming sites.
For years fans have begged for her label, specifically Uncle Barry Hankerson to release her albums to streaming services as right now only certain songs from her debut album are available.
Even earlier this year, a fake tweet from an alleged page of Hankerson went viral stating that her music would become available this year, but that was later debunked.
Well, on Tuesday (the 19th anniversary of her passing) the official social media pages for Aaliyah issued a statement revealing they are in talks for her music to arrive on streaming platforms and possible physical form soon.
With the news, fans will finally have access to her sophomore album ‘One In a Million’ as well as her final self titled album, as well as her posthumous releases and compilation albums.
