Jamie Foxx is breaking his silence after weeks of being hospitalized due to a medical scare which his team and family have yet to confirm exactly what it was.
The Academy-Award-winning actor took to his Instagram on Wednesday (May 3) to share a post thanking fans and friends for their support for him during this scary time.
He also took to his Instagram stories to thank his friend, Nick Cannon for filling in for him as host of his hit FOX network show ‘Beat Shazam.’

The post comes 3 weeks after suffering a medical emergency which not been confirmed but was speculated to be possibly a stroke.
Just hours before his IG post, those closest to him say he needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can get according to various reports including TMZ.
While his exact condition remains secret, sources close to Jamie echo the same plea — “Pray for Jamie.”
News of his condition broke on April 12 when Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, announced her father had “medical complication.”
