K. Michelle is working overtime to bring her fans some good music, and it may be bittersweet, but the singer has revealed that her next album will be her final R&B project.
K. has been teasing for years now that she has been working on her first country album, and has some heavy hitters helping her craft the project, but before that fans will be getting what she is calling her best R&B album to date.

K responded to one fan who reshared one of her clips and revealed their excitement for the new album: “Wow. I love 90’s R&B and that’s what I wanted to do with this song and album.”

No it’s not! It’s a lot of awesome R&B music out now. Very musical artist. The sound is just different right now. Every artist has their on take and version of R&B and that’s what makes it so dope. I love 90’s vibes. The Jagged Edge, Mary, Brandy, Usher. https://t.co/hKt7SqG5Od

As far as the country album, fans should expect that right after the final R&B project. The singer revealed that she will be dropping the country album in June, just months after the R&B project.
It was so weird to be on the phone today with my new stylist and creative director discussing album visuals and visual transitions into the country single in June. I’ve been so patient and consistent working to myself it’s crazy that the music is finally coming out.
