If you’re keeping up with ‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B’ you know that the drama is already in full swing and Sunday’s latest episode provided more drama that is carrying over off-screen.
During episode 2 on Sunday, LaTocha Scott begins her journey of launching her debut solo album, and even meets with a label to discuss stepping away from her group, Xscape to pursue her solo endeavors.
As fans know, this isn’t Tocha’s first round at solo stardom as she previously attempted her hand at a solo career, back in 1999 around the time that Xscape had just broken up.
During a scene on Sunday’s episode, Tocha alludes that her then-solo album was set to come out but ultimately was shelved with no explanation.
She went on to say that shortly after hers was shelved, Kandi Burruss’ debut solo album came out–alluding that her groupmate might have had something to do with her release being scrapped.
On Monday, Kandi took to social media to react to Tocha’s claims and the suggestion that she in some way was responsible for Tocha’s album never seeing the light of day.
Get into the clip below as well as Kandi’s response to the allegations.
Kandi also took to her YouTube series ‘Speak On It’ to address the drama, episode 2 of the show, and allegations from Tocha that she sabotaged her solo album years ago.
