Kandi Burruss’ winning streak continues!
The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star has long vocalized her desire to join the short list of EGOT winners, and it looks like the reality star/mogul has just gotten a few steps closer to that goal.
On Monday, May 1, Kandi announced that she has been nominated for a Southeast Emmy Award in the “Historic/Cultural/Politics/Government/Societal Concerns” category for her work in La Musica de La Familia.
“It’s a project that I never even told anybody I was involved in,” Kandi revealed on IG, about the Emmy nomination teasing “Hopefully I will have another moment like this tomorrow, as they announce the Tony nominations tomorrow.”
Well, Kandi’s wish came true! On Tuesday, just 24 hours after she received her Southeast Emmy nod, Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker took back to IG to share the exciting news that the Broadway show they produced, The Piano Lesson, received a nomination in the “Best Revival of a Play” category for the upcoming 76th annual Tony Awards.
