NeNe Leakes‘ viral two-part sit down with Carlos King had fans of the reality star and ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ going wild.

The interview was complete with many headline-making moments and statements that the former RHOA OG directed to her former co-stars including Kandi Burruss.

Nene revealed that while she reportedly has no issue at this time with Kandi, she does think that she is “overrated and overpaid” and said the cameras don’t really like Kandi as much as they love her family, because she is “boring.”

Well, as expected those statements made their way to Kandi herself, and during an interview this week with radio station 92Q Jams, the Kandi Koated Nights boss (alongside her husband, Todd Tucker) addressed the commentary.

“Regardless of what she – or anyone says about me – I’m winning. I go hard or go home for everything that I do, every project that I am part of. I have been winning with things before she even thought about being on TV.

I was in 12th grade with a #1 record. I was the first woman to win Songwriter of the Year (at ASCAP). I was the first woman to win ‘The Masked Singer’ for everyone that wants to say I can’t sing. Real talk. And…I am the longest running Housewife on ANY franchise. 14 seasons straight.

When it comes to reality TV, one person cannot make a show. People get mad because I’ve had so many spin-off shows. But the fact is I – by myself – am an ensemble cast. By myself. You see my family, my Momma (who is a star), my husband, my kids, my Aunts, the restauants, everyone that works there, the Kandi Koated Kliq (Don Juan, Carmen). I come with people who are ready to participate in my life and let it be seen by the world. I’m ok with everyone in my team shining.

Now, some certain people want to shine by themselves and that is the problem. They want to shine more than everyone else and then they go outside of those people and you see that you ain’t shining as bright. That be the problem.”

She also appeared on ET this week to dish on the NeNe drama, the recent season 15 reunion taping, and her thoughts on talks of an RHOA shakeup similar to ‘The Real Housewives of New York,’ and her dream cast for season 16.

Another former co-star/friend that caught a bit of NeNe’s wrath from the interview was, Cynthia Bailey.

As we previously told you, Leakes took aim at Bailey the most in her interview with Carlos revealing that allegedly Bailey was working with castmates and production to get NeNe off the show and that she does not foresee them being friends ever again but revealed that she could work with her if necessary.

Well, Cynthia joined Kandi on the most recent episode of her popular aftershow podcast ‘Speak On It’ to dish on her RHOA return as a friend of the show, and of course, her thoughts on the NeNe drama.

Cynthia revealed that while everyone is aware of NeNe’s impact and what she brought to the show, she continues to trash her and feels that if she built the show, she should easily be able to go to another network and build another.
