Kanye West has returned to Instagram this week after a lengthy hiatus, to tease his upcoming album ‘Donda,’ which is set for release this Friday.
The project, which is the follow-up to his 2019’s ‘Jesus Is King’ gospel album is named after his late mother and will serve as his 10th studio album.
He confirmed the project (which has been delayed for over a year) via a Beats by Dre ad featuring Olympian Sha’Carri Richardson which included a sample from the new album’s track ‘No Child Left Behind.’

He also took to IG to share a series of promo snaps for the album, as well as the official tracklisting.
The album will premiere during a sold-out listening event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday, which will be streamed live globally via Apple Music at 8 p.m. ET.
The album is set to feature appearances by Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Pusha T, Post Malone, Playboi Carti, Westside Gunn, Baby Keem, and more.
Kanye played his new album for me & @KDTrey5 last night in Vegas. Man listen! The production is light years ahead of it’s time, and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again. Any artist who plan on dropping soon should just push it back 😤 #Respectfully
