Keke Palmer is out in these DMV streets ahead of the weekend following a week of taking over social media timelines, debates, and blogs following the drama with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
For her first public appearance since the fiasco that sparked from her attendance at Usher’s Las Vegas residency over the 4th of July weekend, Keke headlined a sold-out event at D.C.’s legendary Howard Theatre on Thursday night.
The event ‘Keke Palmer Presents: Big Boss Era “Empowering Yourself to Create the Life You Want’ consisted of a screening of Palmer’s directorial debut and visual album, “Big Boss,” which tells the real-life story of Palmer’s journey through the tumultuous music industry and her ultimate triumph finding her own voice.
Fans in attendance were also treated to a 25-minute Q&A discussing her path to creative independence & ownership, through her new music and new digital network KeyTV, followed by a 20 min interactive session where she will answer questions from the live audience.
The sold-out event was a success, and Keke herself was a knockout and took to social media to share snaps of her look for the night.
