Kenya Moore is the latest reality star to sit down and chop it up with Carlos King for his ‘Reality With The King’ podcast following his viral 2 part sit-down with NeNe Leakes earlier this month.

In the little over an hour sit down, the reality star follows Leakes appearing in person and opened up on her upbringing, struggles with her mother, and their strained relationship from childhood until now.

She also dishes on her career pre ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ her decision to join the show in season 5, and her thoughts on the show and cast before she joined. She revealed that she was filming for the show for over a month, without pay before actually earning her peach.

She also spilled the tea on some behind-the-scenes scoop including that the cast rallied together to do a strike in season 5 over Kim Zolciak receiving preferential treatment, which resulted in the infamous walk-off and her quitting the show. She also revealed that it was this moment that cemented Porsha Williams getting her peach because she originally did not have one.

She also dished on issues with production over reunion seating, placement in the title cards, her frustration with not receiving a spinoff, and confirms that she was “punished” after secretly getting married and not showing her wedding to Marc Daly on the show, and much more.
