Keyshia Cole is back with new music!

On Friday, the R&B singer dropped an emotional new song titled ‘Forever Is A Thing,’ which also serves as the closing credits song from her upcoming Lifetime biopic, ‘Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story.’

The grief-heavy song which Cole co-wrote with her frequent collaborator Ron Fair, serves as a tribute to her mother, Frankie Lons, who passed away in July 2021.

The song is her first taste of new music in over two years since 2021’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Be In Love.’

No word if the track will appear on her next album which will be her eighth and the follow-up to 2017’s ’11: 11 Reset.’ 

Her biopic, ‘Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story’ premieres on Lifetime this Saturday, June 24, at 8 p.m. ET.
