Just days ago, Laverne Cox teased a mystery project that she was collaborating with Beyonce on that would be announced this week, and now we know exactly what that is.
The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ actress is now the face of Bey’s Ivy Park’s 2017 Autumn/Winter campaign. Laverne spoke on the campaign as well as her excitement about working with the woman she has admired for years.
“It feels amazing that I get to be a part of this brand that has already inspired me and be working with a woman who has especially been a huge inspiration to me and so many folks around the world,”
Bey also released a statement on the goal and direction of the new campaign.
“True beauty and power are born out of strength of character and defined from the inside out,”…“There is no one standard of beauty.”
