Two of Hip-Hop’s biggest titans are making history for the very first time!
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has linked up with Dr. Dre as the two sat down for a studio session on Tuesday night.
Diddy took to social media to share the news along with snaps of the session where Dre coached him through vocals while collaborating on Dre’s upcoming album with Snoop Dogg, who was also at the studio session.
Diddy shared that the experience was a dream of his he’s longed for since the start of his own iconic career.
“Yesterday, one of my biggest dreams finally came true. I remember the first time I heard @DrDre’s production. It gave me clear direction on the level of Producer that I wanted to be. Last night, I got the chance to work with this man and to see his genius as he coached me through vocals. He reminded me of myself, but with a different style and way more focused.”
Diddy is currently in the studio also working on his own project, which will be released on his new R&B label, Love Records. Meanwhile, Dre is finishing up his joint project with Snoop, as well as a previously confirmed joint album with Marsha Ambrosius as we told you HERE.
He is also working on music for the upcoming Marvin Gaye biopic ‘What’s Going On.’ All good new music on the way, stay tuned!
