The upcoming ‘Set It Off‘ live stage play has secured the rest of it’s cast, following the previous announcement that rapper, Da Brat had been cast for the role of Cleo, previously made famous by Queen Latifah.
Well now the other four spots have been filled, and based on the selections, we think the casting director was spot on with these choices. Joining Brat will be actress/singer, LeToya Luckett, singer/actress and former ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star, Demetria McKinney, as well as actress, Kyla Pratt rounding out the cast.
The live adaption of the film is being orchestrated by Je’Caryous Johnson who brought ‘Two Can Play That Game’ to the stage last year starring Vivica A. Fox, Brely Evans, Carl Payne, Porsha Williams, Towanda Braxton, Gary Dourdan, Columbus Short and more.
D.C., Atlanta, and Houston are just a few of the stops on the tour, you can get tickets on sale now.
