We told you awhile back that Lifetime network was gearing up for their latest bio-pic, this time taking on the iconic story of legendary songbird and one of my top five faves Toni Braxton.
‘Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart,’ the original made-for-TV movie is set to arrive on Saturday, January 23 at 8pm ET/PT and ahead of its premiere, the network has released some exclusive snaps to further interest in the project.
The two hour film which she executive produced and stars Lex Scott Davis as Toni, will chronicle the singers rise to fame, fortune, her battle with finances, her health, bankruptcy, her public divorce, her son’s autism and family struggles. The film was inspired by her well-selling memoir (also titled ‘Unbreak My Heart’), which hit retail last year.
Despite the trainwreck that was the the Aaliah movie, Lifetime redeemed themselves with their Whitney Houston biopic, so here is to hoping they have just as much critical praise with Toni’s story.get into the first look snaps below.
