Fans of rap royal Lil Kim who were expecting her new album ‘9‘ (which is her first in 14 years) this May as previously confirmed, will have to wait just a bit longer.
Kim took to social media earlier this week to reveal that her highly anticipated album has been pushed back due to unspecified reasons by her label Entertainment One.
Although no new release date was announced, hopefully one will arrive sooner than later. Kim was slated to make a series of promo spot appearances in support of the album, including a visit to ‘The Wendy William Show’ on May 17 for the album release day.
In an effort to tide fans over, Kim released a dope new freestyle that has fans salivating for more from the project.
She dropped ‘No Auto Blanco,’ her remix to G Herbo’s ‘Never Cared’ and we’re all the way here for the auto tune-less track. Get into it below.
The drama surrounding the release has clearly upset Kim, as she officially cleared her Instagram page of all content as of Wednesday (April 24).
In other Kim news, fan fave track ‘The Jump Off‘ returned to the top of iTunes Music video charts over the weekend over a decade since it’s release.
The Timbaland produced track was her first single from her third studio album ‘La Bella Mafia‘ which was released in March of 2003.
The track which featured Mr. Cheeks debuted at number 95 and climbed into the Top 20 at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Kim took to social media to celebrate the video re-charting of the song but the post is no longer available due to her clearing the page. Her team also shared the news.
