Rap royal Lil Kim is headed back to reality TV soon and we are all the way here for it. Following the announcement that she has inked a new and major management deal, which is reported to kick off with a bang, now Kim has delivered more good news to her loyal fans.
The pint size rapper is headed back to reality TV in a new reality series tentatively titled “The Queen Bee,” where she’ll focus on her long awaited return to music, her new role as mommy and more. Kim posted the clip on Wednesday May 13 and shared that the series will document her day to day as she gears up for her big return and new album.
“It’s time for the black Kardashian,” Lil Kim jokes. “I’m recording and making bottles at the same time … changing Pampers. It takes a lot. Lil Kim is a big brand.”
As previously reported, Kim and Diddy have teamed back up to work on her highly anticipated album and in the clip we see this reunion and relationship will be documented. Her good friend and fellow Brooklyn rapper Fabolous also appears in the clip.
In 2006, she appeared in “Lil Kim: Countdown to Lockdown,” which chronicled her last two weeks of freedom before spending a year in prison for perjury. The series brought in major ratings for BET and remains one of their highest rated shows.
No network has officially picked up the show yet but based on Kim’s name alone and track record, we are sure many will be biting at the chance. Check out the trailer below.
