Mariah Carey Announces New Double Album ‘The Rarities’ Featuring Previously-Unreleased Track with Lauryn Hill & More

Mariah Carey is less than a month out from her highly anticipated memoir ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’ and now the singer has announced another new release to coincide with it.

On Tuesday night, Carey took to Instagram to surprise fans with an announcement of a new album ‘The Rarities‘ which is a double-disc compilation album of previously unheard/unreleased material.

The set features 32 songs including ‘Save The Day‘ featuring Lauryn Hill on side 1, while side 2 is made up of mostly live performances from a Tokyo show and includes renditions of many of her biggest hits.

The set will arrive on Oct 2 and is available for pre-order now. Check out the announcent/artwork below.
