The countdown for the highly anticipated Brandy and Monica ‘Verzuz‘ is officially on, with the main event taking place next Monday.
As soon as the announcement was made on Saturday, fans and music lovers went crazy on social media. As you’ve probably seen, fans are taking their sides with some folks taking the opportunity to throw shade at the other while declaring their “fave” as the best.
Well, Missy Elliott was dragged into the mess and said she wants no parts of it. The meme below instantly went viral, and caught the attention of Missy who made sure to shut down the intended shade to Brandy.
The same user then responded and indicated that he wa only joking, to which Missy responded back.

That’s not all. Monica and Missy got fans uber excited when they teased new music on the way.
A fan tweeted to Missy that music hasn’t been the same without her and her screaming on tracks, to which Monica replied and shared to her IG stories that she and Missy are actually in talks now to make something happen.
Missy then replied and indicated she is waiting for Rona season to be over, but might have to make an exception and just use precautions to get this done.
