Monique Samuels has gone live and broken her silence for the first time since the news broke that she and her estranged husband, Chris Samuels are getting divorced.

A little over a week after the news broke, the reality star took to Instagram live on Thursday evening to chat with fans and confirmed the news.

During her over hour-long live, Monique dished on what prompted the filing and revealed that they are currently still residing together in their family home but she has purchased her own home which she will move into once renovations are complete.

She also dished on their respective journies to peace which included therapy, co-parenting through the divorce, and shut down speculation that she would return to ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ or ‘Love & Marriage: DC’ now that they are divorcing.

She also says that LAMDC was her “worse” reality TV experience, “20xs worse” than RHOP but says that despite all that, RHOP actually saved their marriage and gave them more years.
