Monique Samuels is confirming previous reports that she was set to join season 3 of the wildly popular show ‘Traitors,’ and is revealing why she opted out.
It was previously reported that the former ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ star was negotiating to join the upcoming season but bowed out due to their inability to meet her salary demands.
She also revealed that while negotiating, her management team found out that producers of the show were also trying to court her former RHOP co-star, Candiace Dillard Bassett.
As fans know, Monique and Candiace had a major altercation during season 5 of RHOP that resulted in the end of their friendship, and Monique ultimately quit the show following the season 5 reunion.
During her IG live on Wednesday, Monique addressed the ‘Traitors’ situation and revealed due to them trying to set her up to be on a show with Candiace behind her back, she has declined any future offers to do the show.
