Monday nights MTV Video Music Awards was an action packed show as both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were in the building.
Nicki took home the moon person for ‘Best Hip Hop‘ video and took the stage to accept the award before also performing offsite moments later.
Cardi took home the moon person for ‘Song of The Summer,’ ‘Best Collaboration‘ with Jennifer Lopez, and ‘Best New Artist‘ where she took a moment to address her detractors who have been claiming that she and her label have been paying for her record sales.
