Media maven Raven Symone is setting the internet and social media on fire after a sit down interview she did with Oprah for her OWN series ‘Where Are They Now’. Raven addressed her “coming out of the closet” and confirmed that she is in a committed relationship with a female AzMarie Livingston a contestant from ‘America’s Next Top Model’.

Although Raven confirmed this, she says she doesn’t want to be labeled based on her sexual orientation or her race. Her statements which have much truth to them have also rubbed a few people the wrong way for a few choice words she used, particularly her statement “I’m Not African-American…I’m American” which Oprah advises her she would get some backlash for saying.
