Fans of BET‘s hit reality series ‘College Hill‘ were delighted to hear last year that there was a planned reboot of the show in the works, but now some details are coming out and the show is getting a total revamp of what fans are used to.
As fans know, the original formula of the show (which ran from 2004-2009) followed real college students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities as they navigate school life, relationships, and friendships.
However, the reboot will now follow celebrities who never attended or completed their college education.
The cast will feature singer/reality star/tech entrepreneur, Ray J; former ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ star/rapper, Dreamdoll; baller/reality star, Lamar Odom; New Orleans royalty/Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia; and reality star, NeNe Leakes as she makes her return to reality TV since departing ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ a few years ago.
While details on the reboot are scarce, it is reportedly being filmed at Texas Southern University. Students at the school shared some footage of the cast filming, and Slim Thug and India Love were spotted with them which means they too could possibly join the cast.
BET has confirmed the news.
