Following the second demise of Danity Kane last year its members all went their separate ways with Aubrey O Day and Shannon Bex seemingly moving on as a duo as we previously told you. Dawn Richard has reignited her solo career and plans to release her new album ‘Blackheart’ this month and it looks as though she has found one of her former group mates as a supporter.

Today a new snippet of a Dawn track titled ‘Phoenix’ surfaced online and the song features her former DK sister Aundrea Fimbres who ultimately left the group just months before their highly publicized split last year to pursue motherhood and to get married.

You may also remember that once news broke of the physical altercation between Dawn and Aubrey months ago, Aundrea released some cryptic tweets that had many believing she was siding with Dawn so the two of them reconnecting is no surprise.

As far as the song, although its only a snippet it sounds like it potentially could be a winner. Check it out below.
