All week, Usher has been teasing his new single ‘Good Good’ was on the way, and as promised, on Friday (Aug 4) the Summer Walker and 21 Savage-assisted track arrived.
On the mid-tempo track, the R&B King reflects on a past lover while wishing things could have ended differently for them but declares that things are still “Good Good” and hopes they can be amicable.
This is Usher and Summer Walker’s second collaboration following the release of her hit single ‘Come Thru,’ which samples his 1997 hit ‘You Make Me Wanna.’
It marks Usher’s first collaboration with Savage 21, although the two have linked up before. Back in April, the rapper joined Usher on stage at his ‘My Way’ Las Vegas residency and got his R&B vibes on while singing alongside Usher during a performance of ‘My Boo.’
‘Good Good’ is Usher’s second single release this year after previously releasing his smash hit ‘GLU’ which hit No.1. Both tracks are expected to appear on his long-awaited ninth studio album.
In the meantime, get into the new track below.
