NLE Choppa teased earlier this year that he wanted to perform at one of 2024’s Pride events, and as we previously told you the rapper selected Atlanta Black Pride as his destination to do so.
As promised, Choppa appeared on Sunday night (Sep. 1) to a packed crowd of his LGBTQ+ fans and attendees, and delivered a heartfelt word to the crowd.
Echoing earlier sentiments on social media, Choppa reiterated his intentions of appearing to support and show his thanks to the community for their support of him.
“I’m not here for no gimmick, no extra commas, no extra views. I believe that everybody is equal.
I want to let y’all know that the way y’all love and appreciate me, I love and appreciate you.”
