In a move we didn’t see coming, it looks like Omarion and the mother of his two children, Apryl Jones have called it quits.

Just a week after sharing a snap of Omarion and their infant daughter A’mei just last week, apparently the two have broken up and took to social media to reveal the news.

Apryl took to Twitter last night to reveal that she was now single and later took to snapchat to further reveal that the breakup was not due to cheating, before speculation could start.

Neither have revealed what exactly happened, but Apryl stated in her snapchat that the two simply just grew apart.

Omarion did also take to Instagram to issue a “statement” on the matter, asking that his fans respect his privacy.

As you may know, the couple appeared together on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood for two seasons, but announced after last season that they would not be returning. So that means we shouldn’t expect to see what happened play out on camera. Best of luck to both parties.

Elsewhere in Omarion news, the singer shared a snippet of his new single “Body on Me” that tentatively will arrive soon. The singer is still working on his new album Reasons, which should arrive hopefully this year.
