R&B fans were ecstatic to hear that some of the biggest girl groups of the 90s were hitting the road for the ‘Queens of R&B Tour’ this summer.
The SWV and Xscape-co-headlined tour will feature fellow 90s hitmakers 702, Mya, and Total as they rock stages city to city from June to August.
However, in a move that some may have suspected, one member of Total will not be joining the trek.
While Kima Dyson and Keisha Epps will be reuniting for the first time since they toured together in 2016 as part of the Bad Boy Reunion Tour, their third member Pamela Long has confirmed she will not join them.
Fans may recall Pam joined the Carlos King-produced reality series ‘BET Presents: The Encore’ in 2021, which brought together various solo members from 90s girl groups in an attempt to form a new supergroup.
While Pamela made it to the end of the competition to join the group BluPrint and appeared for their finale performance, she ultimately departed the group citing her hopes of pursuing a career in gospel.
Well, as her original Total groupmates prepare to hit the road, she has revealed on her Instagram that while she supports and is rooting for them-she won’t be joining.
Get into her confirmation below.
