In what may come as shocking news, Jazmine Sullivan has snagged the very first platinum single of her career thanks to her fan-fave bop ‘Pick Up Your Feelings.’
This certification comes months after the release of her wildly popular new project ‘Heaux Tales‘ and marks her first RIAA certification for a single, as well as her first platinum-selling record.
The kiss-off anthem previously stamped her second certified gold title with her critically-lauded debut album Fearless as her first.
“Pick Up Your Feelings” also notes her very first number-one single on R&B radio and Billboard Adult R&B charts.
November 2021 was a strong month for Sullivan. First, she received news that she was a triple nominee at the 2022 Grammys, scoring nods in the R&B field: Best R&B Performance and Song for “Pick Up Your Feelings” and Best R&B Album (Heaux Tales).
She collaborated with Curtis Harding and Leon Bridges that same month while announcing a headlining tour to support Heaux Tales. The trek starts on Feb. 14, featuring Tiana Major9 as the special guest.
Apart from Sullivan’s recent Grammy considerations, she scored four 2022 NAACP Image Awards nominations, including Outstanding Female Artist and Outstanding Album (Heaux Tales).

That’s not all. The songbird has announced that she will be dropping more music in a matter of weeks. Jazmine took to social media on Monday, after days of teasing to reveal that ‘Heaux Tales, Mo’ Tales: The Deluxe’ will be released on February 11.
The new release will come almost a year from the day her original ‘Heaux Tales’ EP was released last year on January 8, 2021. Check out the new announcement below.
