Jazmine Sullivan is in her winning era and the R&B slayer just collected a shiny new plaque to add to her collection.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Jazmine’s single “Girl Like Me” featuring H.E.R. is now certified platinum. The track has sold more than one million equivalent units after previously going gold back in February 2022.
“Girl Like Me” which is lifted from Jazmine’s 2021 album ‘Heaux Tales’ has also racked up over 44 million streams on Spotify alone.
“Girl Like Me” has now become the singer’s sixth platinum award from the RIAA. Last year, she gained platinum certifications for her album “Fearless,” as well as her singles “Pick Up Your Feelings,” “Insecure” with Bryson Tiller, “Need U Bad” and “Bust Your Windows.”
Jazmine will reunite with H.E.R. for the ‘Lights on Festival’ going down September 16 and 17 in Monthan View, CA as they both serve as co-headliners for the festival.
