So the announcement of cast changes for R&B Divas: ATL were made a few weeks ago, but today comes some not so shocking changes to the R&B Divas: LA lineup. The wildly popular series is set to begin production for season 2 this month in LA, and in addition to returning cast members Chanté Moore, Lil’ Mo, Michel’le and Claudette Ortiz, the second season will feature new divas Chrisette Michele and Leela James as not so fan favorites Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson are out.
Speaking on the changes D’Angela Proctor, SVP Programming and Production at TV One revealed:
“The debut season of R&B Divas LA set the tone as a series all about glamour and high-stakes drama,” “As we gear up to shoot season two, we anticipate that the addition of two lovely and respected solo artists, Chrisette and Leela, will build upon the impassioned, ever-evolving group dynamic that season one viewers embraced.”
The new season is set to air in the Spring of 2014
