Raven-Symoné may have found herself a new full time job according to reports and we are so here for it. The ‘Empire’ actress has been guest hosting over at ‘The View’ ever since Rosie O’ Donnell left the show a few weeks ago and now Page Six is reporting that the big wigs at ABC are trying to snag Raven and give her a contract for the full time seat.

ABC chiefs are desperately trying to sign Raven-Symoné as a host of “The View” before their upfront presentation May 12 in New York.

Sources say the former child star of “The Cosby Show,” Disney Channel actress and, more recently, “Empire” cast member was a hit when she guest-hosted the daytime show in March, alongside Whoopi Goldbergand Rosie Perez.

An ABC source told us, “She was interesting and provocative. Raven would be great as a regular host.” Her reps didn’t get back to us

During her brief stint Raven had her fair share of headlines and controversy including receiving some backlash over comments she made regarding Beyonce and  by many who were upset that she allegedly defended a Univision host’s claims that Michelle Obama looked like she belonged in the film “Planet of the Apes,”

“I said that what he said was very distasteful and I think that the organization is in the right to fire him. And I don’t believe that she looks like a racially charged animal that has been connected to the black community for years and years. However, I do know people that look like animals,” she later added.
