It was reported weeks ago that Rihanna is gearing up for a huge world tour and that her upcoming Superbowl Halftime Show performance would be the jumpstart for this exciting new era.
While fans have been waiting on word on the tour, and if new music is on the way, the singer has remained coy about dishing out too many details before it’s time.
However, according to fresh reports, the global icon is officially set to announce her upcoming tour immediately following the highly-anticipated Superbowl performance.
The Umbrella hitmaker, 34, has taken time off from performing and touring over recent years, last performing in the UK back in 2016.
Seemingly confirming an epic comeback, a source told The Sun: ‘She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024.’Rihanna has also been spotted spending time hard at work in the studio over recent months, and is said to be focusing on her Super Bowl performance.

Rihanna last toured in 2016 while promoting her eighth studio album Anti, kicking things off in North America, before circling Europe and finishing off in the United Arab Emirates.
While she hasn’t performed on stage since the 2018 Grammy Awards, which was held at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The source also dished on what fans can expect from her Halftime Show performance which is said to be one of the best ever.
A music insider said: “Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance will be one of the best of all time.
“She’s been working overtime on every element of the show.
“The list of songs that made the cut are pretty comprehensive and touch on every era of Rihanna including the new one she’s about to embark on.
