FX‘s new LGBTQ series ‘Pose‘ has received critical acclaim after it’s premiere episode, and is making waves as the first television series in history to assemble the largest cast of transgender actors ever to appear as series regulars on a scripted show.
In addition to it’s critical acclaim and stellar reviews following the premiere on June 3, episode two just aired this past Sunday (June 10) and the series continues to pick up steam and has earned modest ratings for its first two showings, but it definitely needs a boost.
According to TV By The Numbers, the premiere episode which aired on June 3, brought in under 1 million viewers giving it a slow but respectable start.
New series “Pose” on FX and “Succession” on HBO started fairly quietly, each finishing out of the top 25. Both had 0.2 ratings in adults 18-49; “Pose” had 688,000 viewers and “Succession” 582,000.
Meanwhile, week two numbers haven’t been released yet, but according to TVBTN, the show did not crack the top 25 which you can view HERE. Here’s hoping that the views pick up drastically and soon, for Pose is a great show and has so much potential. We’d hate to see it get lost in the shuffle.
